Founded in 2001 by Cassa Pancho MBE, Ballet Black was created with a simple but powerful mission: to provide a platform for dancers of Black and Asian heritage and diversify the often-exclusive world of classical ballet. The evening was a seamless blend of traditional ballet technique with contemporary influences, making the performance feel both timeless and refreshingly modern.
