Charlotte Rose Method: A Holistic Approach to Beauty, and Long-Term Skin Health

Written by Ruby Bradshaw

As an advanced aesthetic specialist, Charlotte has built a beauty business rooted in care, consistency and confidence. Her approach is deeply personal, offering bespoke treatment plans that go beyond quick fixes and instead focus on long-term skin health.

During the challenging times of COVID, Charlotte went through serious burnout. She realised she had been living her life based on other people’s expectations instead of her own. After her daughter, who was about three or four at the time, pointed out how unhappy and angry Charlotte seemed when she was working, that was the moment she decided to make a change. She began healing by being kinder to herself, creating a daily skincare routine, exercising and eating more healthily. For her, taking care of her skin became much more than just vanity, it became a way to feel empowered and reconnect with herself. This helped her find balance and even reduce her reliance on medication. Charlotte believes that taking care of yourself is not selfish but essential, because if you’re not at your best, you can’t fully support those around you.

Charlotte explains how starting a simple skincare routine can spark bigger changes in your life. “When we all have moments of stress, we hold a lot of that tension in our face, which then moves up to the head, down the neck, shoulders, and the rest of the body.” Just taking five minutes in the morning to massage your face and care for your skin can help relieve that built-up stress and tension. She adds that doing this routine not only benefits your skin but also helps set a positive tone for the day. “If you start your day by looking after yourself and giving yourself a pep talk in the mirror while doing your routine, you’re ready, zoned in and focused to take on any challenges.”

Charlotte also points out that good skin is just the beginning. “Clear skin is the first tick box people want,” she says, “but there are so many more benefits, like better physical and mental health, that come from following a simple morning and evening routine.”

One of the biggest hurdles she faced was building trust with potential clients. “Back then, business growth looked different,” she says. “Now, social media is everything. You have to be present and consistent online. Ninety percent of my clients come through social media, especially Instagram.” But at first, Charlotte only used Facebook to keep up with friends and family and wasn’t comfortable sharing videos or photos of herself. Getting out of her own head and creating content to build trust was a steep learning curve. She adds, “I never wanted to be someone who just did quick fixes or quick cash transactions. I set my standards higher, and I knew I had to knuckle down and really work hard.”

That’s why Charlotte emphasises celebrating the small wins. “You have to acknowledge progress, like getting enquiries, positive comments on your skin or gaining new followers. Those little things matter.” She warns against focusing only on big revenue goals straight away because it can lead to frustration and losing sight of your purpose. “If you celebrate the small achievements, success starts to flow. It’s all about keeping your mindset positive and appreciating each step forward.”

Specialising in age prevention, Charlotte noticed that many clients wanted to know her simple daily routine because they admired her confidence and glowing skin. She recognised a gap in the industry: most skincare and aesthetic treatments focus on fast results and trends, especially on social media, but rarely on what people should do before or between treatments to maintain results. “It’s all quick sales and quick fixes,” she says. Unlike personal training, where clients go on a full journey including nutrition and maintenance, skincare lacked that ongoing, personalised support.

This led her to develop the Charlotte Rose Method, starting with a package called “The Flawless.” Originally a standard anti-ageing package, it evolved into fully bespoke treatment plans tailored to each client’s age, goals and skin condition. Around 95 percent of her clients now subscribe to these ongoing packages, which combine simple at-home routines with monthly treatments like microneedling to keep collagen levels high.

Charlotte shares a client story that shows just how powerful this approach can be. A woman who initially wore a full face of makeup to her appointments now comes in makeup-free and glowing, feeling more confident than ever. “Her husband even asked if I was a magician!” she laughs. The transformation isn’t about erasing all expression or looking completely different, it’s about softening lines, boosting natural radiance and helping clients embrace their unique beauty.

For Charlotte, this work is deeply personal. It’s about empowering women to take time for themselves, celebrate who they are, and feel confident in their own skin. “It’s not about changing your face to look like mine,” she says. “It’s about celebrating your own beauty and making that time for you.”

Skin has always been her starting point, but now she’s ready to go further. She wants to make her approach more accessible so people can get results without needing to see her in person. “It’s about giving people the right tools and routines they can use at home,” she explains. “That way, I can help people no matter where they are.”

She’s also really excited about expanding into retreats, something that brings everything together, not just skincare. “I want to look at the full picture,” she says. “Your skin, your nutrition, your mindset, your health - it all plays a part.” These are things she already does in her own life, from going to the gym to journalling and meditating, and now she wants to help others explore that too.

“It feels like the right time,” she says. “I’ve built something I’m really proud of, and now I want to grow it in a way that helps even more people feel good in their own skin.”
